| Day 3: WRITING'S ON THE WALL (AND FLOOR) | ||||||
I doubt the Police are going to be listening anymore. I was trying their patience anyway but this morning I got a call from our favourite Sgt. Hammond asking me to swing by. I thought they might be taking me seriously at last. Not quite.
This is getting pretty serious. Whoever’s spraying this all over town not only has a fair bit of talent on them but they’re taking a risk calling so much attention to themselves. I just don’t know whose attention they’re trying to get. Despite what Sgt. Hammond thinks, it has nothing to do with me and I know it wasn’t Tom either. Less said about how I know that, the better. ... UPDATE: Okay. This is just getting weirder. Tom just rang. He was walking back through Nigel’s old haunts in the park. On the day we saw Nigel get taken, they dumped his sandwich-board as they grabbed him. But anyway, Tom found some more graffiti. Granted, this isn’t exactly news considering the state of the Police station but this is different. He took a picture on his phone and sent it though:
Save Something. What’s going on here? That phrase was in the background of Tom’s bloody comic strip too! This photo is of the EXACT spot where Nigel was standing when he was grabbed. I didn’t get it straight away, but it clicked just before Tom was about to tell me. Save Something. Save Something for a Rainy Day. Nigel, if you’re somehow reading this, after they grabbed you I picked up your sandwich-board. It’s here with me. Safe. I just hope you are.
